The shares of India’s top FMCG company Adani Wilmar falls nearly 2% today. With this, the Adani Wilmar share price reached Rs 686 today, which was trading at nearly Rs 690 on August 2. However, it is still trading at a discount of 26% from the record-high Adani Wilmar share price of Rs 878. 

After retracing from a lifetime high of Rs 878 on NSE, the increment in the price of Adani Wilmar shares is expected to provide relief to the shareholders. The current Adani Wilmar share price is enough to prove why it is among the multi-bagger stocks in 2022.

Additionally, many large-cap companies, including Adani Wilmar and Adani Power, will release their Q1 earning reports today. Investors have mixed reactions to the news as it may affect the Adani Wilmar share price both positively and negatively. 

The shares of Adani Wilmar Ltd were listed on the Indian stock market on February 8 2022. The FMCG giant fixed the IPO’s stock price at Rs 230. However, it is listed on the BSE and NSE at Rs 221 and Rs 227, respectively. Later, the Adani Wilmar share prices witnessed a fast pace, and on April 28, 2022, the share price reached Rs 878, which is a record high for the stock. With that, investors have gained returns up to 282%.

According to the industry experts, Adani Wilmar shareholders are advised to hold it further as the firm is a substantial market leader in branded edible oil and industry essentials.

Empashing on the reason for giving a ‘hold’ rating to Adani Wilmar shares, experts said, “As Adani Wilmar (AWL) is a strong market-leader in industry essentials and branded edible oil, it is beleived the company will further scale-up packaged foods. Strong competitive advantages in the industry offers AWL with an edge over competition.”

On their suggestion over Adani Wilmar Share price outlook, experts said that holding these shares for the long-term will generate outstanding returns. With the increase in prices of edible oil in India, Adani Wilmar has benefited from this.
